Privacy and Data Security

We take your privacy and security seriously and to that end the whole site uses current SSL encryption.

We don’t sell (or buy) mailing lists, nor will we sell or give your data to any other organisation except to the extent necessary to process your payment and deliver your goods.

If you choose to set up an account with us we will store your data securely but we won’t give it to anyone else – not ever – except as noted to the extent we need to in order to process your order. All data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations and data we no-longer need is periodically deleted: we know that some of our customer purchase from us infrequently and some spend many weeks building a cart, so we don’t delete shopping carts attached to your account.  We use an automtated process to delete inactive accounts, defined as accounts where no purchases have been made for more than a year.

We store all the details you enter when setting up your order and, as a protection against fraud, we associate the IP Address from which you make the order too.  However we can never see your full credit card number and only our payment processors store any of your payment details: they don’t get stored in Pell Wall’s systems at all, so we can’t re-process a payment to a card you’ve used before unless you enter the details again as part of the checkout process.

If you agree to subscribe to our mailing list we’ll send you updates and offers from time to time but we won’t constantly spam you with stuff: we want our mailings to be rare enough that you’ll be eager to read them!  If you do get bored though, you can of course unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link at the foot of each email.  We may also occasionally send you personalised emails with offers we think may be of particular interest to you or containing special discounts you’ve earned by, for example, leaving reviews of products: if you don’t want us to do so, all you have to do is unsubscribe.
