Also known as alpha-methylene citronellal, this IFF product, stabilised by them using tocopherol, is described as: “Refreshing, aldehydic, lemon, citronella, verbena note with definite bergamot and dry orange moieties.”

Very useful to enhance bergamot and other citrus notes and can be used to push a standard orange oil in the direction of bergamot.

Demonstration Formulae – this document contains several demo formulae that were presented by IFF at the World Perfumery Congress in 2014 where Karmawood and Bergamal were showcased (scroll down for the Bergamal entries).

Very good scent. Not only for enhancing bergamot or other citrus notes, also to use as a solitaire, for fresh verbene like citrus notes. The price is also very fair.
