Description and usage notes:

A very nice diffusive, woody-herbal material of great versatility. Besides the obvious uses in woody and woody-amber complexes, try this with labdanum in Incense fragrances, with Fougere or Chypre as a brightening, lifting agent.

Note that despite the shared CAS number and widespread listing of the two as equivalent this is not the same material as Poivrol (also manufactured by Symrise and only recently released): the latter has a distinctive spicy, black-pepper note which is almost entirely absent from the Mahagonate product.
