Description and usage notes:

Stong, aromatic, sweet floral with a fruity undertone.

According to Arctander: “This ester is widely used in perfume compositions and floral bases. It is a conventional ingredient in ’Peau d’Espagne’ and in Ylang-Ylang bases, it is used for its low cost in detergent fragrances, masking odors and industrial perfumes. It blends excellently with Benzyl acetate, Cinnamic alcohol, Cresyl-ethers and esters, Methyl anthranilate, etc. and with most of the spice oils.”
