Description and usage notes:

According to Arctander this “highly purified material smells more citrusy, reminiscent of Lemon and Bergamot topnotes, having more freshness.” 

Widely used in the recreation of essential oils, this material also regularly appears in GCMS results.  It can be used to add freshness to the top-notes of almost any fragrance, especially where cost is an issue.
