We have issued the following update on the COVID-19 situation.

Hi Everyone,

As you may know the UK Government has imposed new restrictions regarding COVID-19 this week and we wanted to provide you with a further update from Pell Wall. At the end of this mail there are some important changes to information from our delivery partners.

There are many things to worry about at this trying time but, for the time being at least, getting your perfumery materials doesn’t have to be one of them.

We are still operating more-or-less as usual. Chris, our perfumer and his sister Katy, who fulfils your orders, are both able to work from our lab in Shropshire, which is part of the family home. Ben, who handles customer support and technical support works from his home in Manchester and Julia who does our accounts and bookkeeping works from her home in another part of Shropshire. That’s the whole team, so we’re all able to keep working with minimal contact with others and in compliance with the latest UK Government restrictions.

Our online store is still open and we are still continuing to serve our loyal and supportive customers in this difficult time.

Some of our suppliers are having difficulty fulfilling orders, one or two have had to close completely, but most are still operating: please bear with us if there are stock shortages.

Delivery Restrictions and Delays

In our previous updates we shared with you information about what our two main courier partners are doing to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, protect their workforce and communities they deliver to. Some of that information has now changed for DPD deliveries to Italy, Czech Republic, Austria and Bulgaria there are some postcodes to which deliveries are not possible. For several other countries deliveries are taking longer due to border checks and so on.

As this is a fast moving situation we cannot always guarantee that we will be able to advertise further changes to delivery restrictions, so if you are in Europe, we would urge you to please check DPD’s web site before placing an order.

Obviously, we are monitoring this situation closely and we will continue to update you when we can.
