Stirrer bars for stirring and mixing. These are PTFE coated so they won’t absorb odours, and are available in two sizes and two types – with (this product) or without rocker bar. Stirrer bars with the rocker bar are less likely to stick to the bottom of the vessel when dealing with sticky substances, although it does mean they make a clicking noise as they stir.
The small stirrer bars are perfect to use with our 50ml beaker. The medium stirrer bars will work well with our 100ml Erlenmeyer flask or the 250ml size beaker
At Pell Wall we mainly use these for mixing powders and crystals into liquids, blending liquids together and similar tasks that require an automatic stirrer.
