The 100 Essential Aroma Chemicals Series
The 100 Essential Aroma Chemicals Series consists of five kits, each of 20 materials, that together constitute some of the most useful materials available to the modern perfumer. The first job of any beginning perfumer is to learn your materials and the huge selection available can seem overwhelming: the idea of these kits is that that they can be purchased in order, so that you can get to know 20 ingredients at a time. Each kit provides enough material to give plenty of scope for experimentation, blending and learning before adding another 20 to your palette. By the time you have the full series you’ll have the 100 most useful materials at your disposal and you’ll know each one well enough to be able to put it to good use.

Kit#2 of 5 received promptly Once again presented in a very tasteful presentation box. For the budding perfumer these kits are a bargain and value for money as opposed to purchasing separately. Thanks Chris!!

Another box of wonders, well packaged & promptly delivered.
Opening the box gives a completely different impression to the first kit: kit #1 gave an initial impression of amber/musk with a dash of aftershave; this kit is pure fruit & cream with a background of coconut. (Of course that doesn’t reflect all of the goodies here.)
Don’t underestimate the time it takes to get to know these amazing materials. I think I bought the kits too quickly (I have bought 4 & have only really got to know the first 3 so far.) It will easily take you a month to get to know the materials here (and that’s without even trying to blend them) and by the time you finish kit #2 you’ll have to go back & re-evaluate the first set!
