Description and usage notes:
Extremely useful for giving a diffusive boost to citrus fragrances and fruity-florals even where a blackcurrant note is not required. It can lend an extremely juicy effect in almost any fruit accord, particularly berry and tropical fruit compositions, containing as it does some of the key odour character components of fruits such as passionfruit for example. It gives especially good effects with Fruit Sec in a tropical fruit context.
It’s very powerful and therefore effective at very low doses: less than 1% of the concentrate is usual.
From Firmenich: “Green, Floral, Fruity. Use: This speciality recalls the green, fruity, floral character of blackcurrant buds combined with the freshness of the boxwood shrub.”
Arcadi Boix Camps describes this widely used product as a “very important base”
