Description and usage notes:
A versatile, strong and tenacious woody-dry-amber note that also functions as a blender and fragrance enhancer.
This product is produced by Firmenich, to a minimum purity of 80%, they describe it like this: “Odor: A powerful and complex dry woody note with an ambery nuance. Use: This distinctive woody note gives elegance and harmony to a wide range of fragrance types; however, it gives exceptional effect in floral, Chypre, aromatic and oriental notes.”
Arcadi Boix Camps, writing in 1978, tells us that “Cedroxyde, has a powdery note, intensely woody, very delicate, strong and long-lasting”

Cedroxyde works very well in combination with materials which have a woody profile. Providing a solid foundation for those materials to be built upon and around. Currently working with combinations of Cedroxyde, cedryl acetate and ambergris odourants; Ambrofix, cetalox, Ambrinol, Labdanum and Ambrarome for example.

This is incredible. It smells almost like the entire heart of terre d’hermes pure parfum. Indeed woody and ambery – but in the most pleasant of ways. Also, very versatile; I could totally see this with sweet, citrus, or floral tops and a wonderful centerpiece. I have no doubt the longevity will be excellent and plan on happily making this part of many perfume hearts.

If you want to produce a best seller in perfumery
this is the first product you need. In my opinion best seller in perfumery is a perfume that sells in 20 seconds from its evaluation. We could achieve with this product incredible wonderful fragrances based on woody, ambery and floral accords.
