Description and usage notes:
Rose, plum, raspberry, wine and tobacco; this rose ketone is one of the best radiants and effective in traces to .2% of the concentrate.
Present in Bulgarian Rose Otto, tobacco absolute and even apple, this material has inumerable uses.
According to Arcadi Boix Camps it’s effects are impressive even in minimal doses, he says “It imparts a freshness, naturalness, radiance, intensity, broadness, uniformity and character to any perfume.” He continues: “ As is well known, this is another great chemical in the series [of damascones and damascenones] beta-damascone is less herbal-tobacco than beta-damascenone, and pure rosy, if a bit less natural than beta-damascenone. The material is extremely delicate, soft, fruity, floral, rose-like, and combines very well with other soft ingredients.”
Note that the IFRA restriction applies to all rose ketones combined.
