This is the description from Firmenich: “Firmenich “SigNature” ingredients are born from our synergies between Science, Nature and Creativity. Showcasing Firmenich process expertise applied to high quality natural ingredients, HONEY SIGNATURE expertly blends natural honey extract with synthetic captives. Incredibly gourmand, it imparts a natural and contemporary touch to fine fragrance.” More details are in the product brochure:

Firmenich also provide a couple of demo formulas using this material:
Notice the extremely low dosage that is used: just one to five parts per thousand in the fragrance formula – 0.01% to 0.05% of the finished fragrance – is enough to introduce this unique, distinctive note.
Because this is both such a strong material and so expensive, we are also making it available as a 10% dilution in IPM: a more practical and affordable way to use it if you blend in smaller amounts.

This is quite a delicious edible scent as it says in the description. It is heady without being floral. It reminds me of heavy syrup. Only a small amount is needed – it is rather strong.I shall experiment using this with florals and hopefully update you, but overall, very lovely indeed.
