Description and usage notes:
Original Givaudan manufactured material, one of the best Methyl Ionone products on the market.
This form of methyl ionone is the one thought to have been used in ‘Mademoiselle Chanel No1’, and was certainly used in ‘Cuir de Russie’ (Chanel 1924), ‘Femme’ (Rochas, 1944), ‘Le Dix’ (Balenciaga 1947), more recently in ‘Iris Silver Mist’ (Serge Lutens, 1994), ‘Bois Oriental’ (Serge Lutens, 1992) and features very heavily in ‘La Viollete’ (Annick Goutal, 2001), which contains no less than 48% of this material in its formula according to Scent & Chemistry.

This is THE methyl ionone that you need to create the Grojsman accord. Floral and very radiant, it brings very nice lift to your floral-woody composition.

Beautiful by itself (diluted, of course). Added to flowery / woody macerates amplifies and lifts.
