Description and usage notes:
Very widely used to give a grapefruit note especially in combination with other citrus. Being stable in alkali it is particularly useful in soaps but is equally used in fine fragrance.
Description from Givaudan: “Methyl Pamplemousse, with its fresh bitterness, blends very well with citrus bases. It can also be used as a booster for vetiver accords. Methyl Pamplemousse is a key ingredient in modern colognes.”

I completely agree with the description. It is a fresh, clear grapefruit note. I Like the combination with Lime essential oil. Methyl pamplemousse is present, but not dominant.

Methyl pamplemousse, subjectively wonderful, complex, deep, citrus, woody with a hint of incense.
