Description and usage notes:
One of the classic bases from Firmenich, giving an exotic, narcotic floral interpretation of narcissus and similar flowers, with aspects of jasmine and tuberose. Although it has a distinctly green quality it’s much more floral and not nearly as green as natural narcissus absolute.
It can be used to add richness and floral impact to almost any composition but is especially useful where a unusual floral note with a very light animalic background is desired. Practically a ready-made perfume all on its own, this is an extremely versatile blend.
Ed Shepp waxes lyrical about a number of the Firmenich bases in this post on his Scent Spectacular blog and describes this one as “incredible” going on to say that it is: “very green with a mentholic aspect. I excpected it to be more white flower-with-leather, but it makes me think of tuberose”

I’ve owned this material for a while now and it’s a complete distraction! It’s one of those materials that you just keep opening, smelling and smiling. Truely delightful but don’t expect any resemblance to the absolute.
