Description and usage notes:
Oakmossarome is one of the bases from Synarome (now part of Nactis), it is a good recreation of the scent of oakmoss absolute, without the dramatic restrictions on its use that apply to the natural material.
Description from Synarome: “… reconstitution of Oakmoss. It blends well with all types of fragrances. Up to 5% it gives an elegant, rich accord to floral and oriental notes.”
They suggest usage at levels up to 5% but the IFRA restriction allows it at up to 20%, in most media – a much higher proportion than the tiny traces of the natural that are permitted when complying with the IFRA standards and EU legal restrictions.
