Description and usage notes:
An unusual marine / ozonic / green ingredient, lasting up to a week on a smelling strip this material is exceptionally tenacious for this olfactive register. Don’t underestimate how powerful this material is: it’s very easy to overdose.
Writing in 1985, Arcadi Boix Camps describes it as having “a green, floral, powerful and clear, muguet-magnolia scent with a backnote of seaweed.”
Firmenich describe it like this: “Odor:Complex aldehyde marine note associated with a watery green floral character and slight mossy undertones. Use: Its value is best appreciated in combination with other green notes, in chypres, eau de colognes, masculine notes and sheer floral types. It is an excellent modifier or enhancer of other ozone marine notes.“
