Description and usage notes:
This is based on Galaxolide, but tweaked by IFF who manufacture it to be more animalic and more akin to natural deer musk.
Description from IFF: “musk, animal, leather.”
Don’t underestimate how different the odour of this material is from Galaxolide: this is an animalic musk with a much ‘dirtier’ connotation. Note that this blend will solidify at low temperatures and once that has happened will often re-crystallise even when relatively warm: if that happens warm it gently in a hot water bath to melt it again – don’t use the material until it’s all fully liquid – because this is a blend it may not crystallise evenly.
If you’re using this material in a product for sale in the EU you’ll need to know that it contains the following EU designated potential allergens (summarised from the IFF declaration available in full to purchasers in the Documentation section below).

Philippe (verified owner) –
A powerful blend, animalic, complex, pleasingly powdery. Has a wow factor from the tin…. I suspect to be used sparingly to add character and richness.
Wincy (verified owner) –
I still have to try more …..because is powerful~
