An unusual material with a fresh green-citrus scent plus salty-seaweed aspects.
From Givaudan: “Odor: Citrus, Fresh, Fruity, Bitter. Use: Due to its hesperidian character, Tangerinol blends well with fresh and sparkling compounds. Mixed with aldehydes and fruity notes, it gives more natural volume. Tangerinol is also effective as a sandalwood booster in soap.”
Arcadi Boix Camps describes it as “Green/citrusy-fruity” and groups it with materials such as Dynascone, Allyl Amyl Glycolate and Cyclogalbanate. He describes it as “to some extent similar to Fantesal in terms of its scent of seaweed, but it is much more citric, with a waxy, green note of tangerine.”

Very intriguing smell, cannot wait to play with this one. There is a salty note to this that should be very useful in marine recreations.
