Description and usage notes:
First produced by Quest, now part of Givaudan, this is a liquid, polycyclic, indane-type musk that also has characteristics of synthetic sandalwood, creamier and richer in odour than most musks and particularly useful in combination with sandalwood odourants.
Description from Givaudan: “Odor: Clean versatile musk with a creamy, floral character. Use: Dosage can be up to 25% from alcoholic fragrances through to soaps and detergents where its good chemical stability and fibre substanitivity is valued.”
Gives a good fixative effect and is cheap enough to use in significant proportions. At around 10% in the fragrance concentrate it will have a useful harmonising / blending effect as well as providing a smooth richness and fixation.

I just felle in love with this delicate musk. Useful to lead a woody heart towards a sandalwood base. I personnaly pair it with the exquisit Javanol.
