A fruity-floral top to heart note material of great versatility, effective in traces it can also be used at up to 2% of the formula particulalrly in wet applications such as shower gels.
Firmenich describe it as “A jasmine, lactonic and fruity note reminiscent of peach and apricot with a hint of lavender. Has broad use because of its exceptional stability and makes a wonderful soft floral note in jasmine, tuberose, honeysuckle creations as well as muguet lilac and fruity notes. It gives interesting effects in lavender and herbal perfumes.”
Writing in 1985, Arcadi Boix Camps describes Veloutone as having “a profound, smooth, floral note, which combines with a large number of diverse notes. Its blends with Hedione, Vertofix Coeur … are excellent.”

interesting , need to explore it more to know , it smells more green than jasmine but nice and fresh
