Description and usage notes:
Listed here by the Givaudan-Quest name Verdilyn (because that’s the name by which this perfumer first encountered the material) as well as the IFF name Hyacinth Body: the material offered here is manufactured by IFF, but note that it isn’t the same chemical as Hyacinth Body #3, also by IFF.
Description from IFF: “Odor: Powerful, leafy, green, nasturtium and hyacinth”
Verdilyn is an excellent green-floral note of great versatility and flexibility. It will give the green aspect of rose effectively but can take centre-stage in lilac and hyacinth compositions but also works well with other green materials to produce a more natural leafy, foliage type of effect. Easy to use from traces through to as much as 5% of the formula.
