Description and usage notes:
Tinctured for over a year with constant stirring – this is made in duty-paid natural ethanol with no denaturants or additives from a piece of ambergris found on Baleshare Beach in the Western Isles and is much richer, more animal and marine than the NZ tinctures. Higher concentrations are available of this one – to a maximum of 10% – POA.

The animalic note in addition to its marine connotation has a mellow leather quality suggestive of horses, saddles and bridles, outdoor living. This very pleasant product has stimulated my interest in natural ambergris.

I have for a long time wanted to know the genuine scent of ambergris, so I am very pleased to have finally acquired this tincture. It is a most fascinating scent- an initial sweetness out of the bottle, a very obvious marine, or sea water character, and then the somewhat challenging animalic element, which is prominent. Since I have had this, I am frequently unscrewing the cap to become more familiar with this unique scent. I shall be looking to get hold of some of the NZ tincture when it becomes available.
